Amy Watson

As an Alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, It has been a memorable achievement to have taken part in the professional and academic opportunities afforded me in my time as an undergraduate student. Through this experience, I have gained applicable academic skills in researching historical and cultural sources, public speaking, and presenting research. These skills have allowed me to further understand topics such as religion, culture, and the philosophical/psychological perspectives surrounding them. As a result, I have committed myself to contributing my skills to the surrounding academic community through the pursuit of an MA in Religion at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Through my time within this program, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of these topics and utilize them to propel me toward greater opportunities in the future.
